Anyhoo, am not gonna get any info here i suppose. My case may have been unavoidable.but would you be so inconsiderate to a person who got ill and had to miss classes? One can't slip up at NC and miss a lecture cause he was up all night doing an assignment? jeez. Ok.I ask cause my prof himself vaguely recommended hunting for old videos if I missed a lecture. In general you aren't allowed to have tests from previous semesters without explicit permission what makes you think having a lecture of an entire semester would be permissible? Symposium participants explored possibilities of utilizing the institute to expand study abroad programs and research opportunities, among other innovative ideas.Įxpanding NC State’s global partnerships in Prague was another goal of the program, met through visits to Charles University, Czech Technical University and Czech University of Life Sciences. It is NC State’s only permanent international facility that welcomes both students and faculty. The Global Symposium was based at the Prague Institute, a year-round facility that advances the educational and outreach missions of the university. Projects ranged from developing undergraduate research opportunities to expanding the First Year Inquiry program to students studying textiles. Participants came from ten different NC State colleges or administrative departments and focused on a wide range of partnership development activities spanning disciplines across the university. The program, facilitated by the Office of International Affairs, was designed to explore international activities at NC State’s Prague Institute and area universities. A group of 12 NC State faculty members spent spring break in the Czech Republic for the Global Symposium in Prague.
